Digital Product / Brand Experience
Alford Hughes / 2025 / Digital Creative Direction / Information Architecture / UI/UX Design
An end-to-end website experience for Alford Hughes, shaped from the initial information architecture and user journeys through to the final UI and UX design.
Project Context
Alford Hughes operates across multiple areas of real estate investment and advisory, speaking to audiences with different needs and expectations. The challenge was to organize this breadth of information into a cohesive website that communicated trust, expertise, and exclusivity without making the experience complicated or overwhelming.
Creative Idea
Approach the website as a guided investment experience rather than a conventional corporate platform. Establish a clear content architecture, connect related services through purposeful user journeys, and use a restrained visual language to give each section space to communicate with confidence.
Art Direction
The visual direction focused on understated luxury, architectural imagery, considered typography, generous whitespace, and disciplined layouts. Every design decision was intended to support the brand’s premium positioning while keeping information accessible, navigation intuitive, and the overall digital experience consistent.
Selected Execution
Led the website design process from initial planning to final UI/UX, including sitemap and information architecture, content hierarchy, page structure, user flows, navigation, wireframing, interface design, and responsive layouts. Developed a cohesive visual and interaction system across the website, bringing together the company’s positioning, services, investment destinations, and enquiry touchpoints.
