Personal Brand & Portfolio Platform
From Artist Shop
to Creative Leadership Platform
Rebuilding a personal website into a content-managed platform — information architecture, a custom CMS, and case-study-driven storytelling — built to argue for senior creative and innovation leadership, not just display it.

Context
The previous version of this site framed Daha primarily as an artist selling original works and prints — accurate, but incomplete. It undersold two decades of creative direction and a growing body of innovation work, and gave a recruiter, brand lead, or agency head no reason to read past "artist." As the goal shifted toward senior creative direction, innovation, and brand-experience roles, the site itself had to become the first proof point rather than a shop window.
The Challenge
The challenge was structural as much as visual: reposition one person as three credible things — Artist, Creative Director, and Innovator — without diluting any of them into a vague, generic "multi-hyphenate" pitch, and without the site collapsing into a cluttered, over-decorated "experimental agency" showcase. It had to read clearly within seconds to a recruiter, a brand lead, and a fellow creative director, each scanning for different evidence.
The Role
Daha directed and built the rebuild end to end — defining the information architecture (Art, Creative Direction, Case Studies, Innovation Lab, About, Contact), setting the dark, premium visual identity, writing the positioning and case study content himself, and implementing the site as a Next.js application rather than handing it to a template or a page builder. Creative direction, content direction, UI/UX decisions, and the technical build sat with one person throughout. The rebuild also proceeded iteratively rather than as one release: information architecture and visual identity first, then a full content-management layer, then section-by-section content and asset work — each pass revisiting earlier decisions once real content, not placeholder copy, was in front of it.
The Insight
Nobody hires a Creative Director or Innovator from a shop window. A visitor deciding whether to trust someone with a brand, a team, or a product concept needed to see the thinking — case studies, a lab of concepts, a CV — not a checkout flow. The artwork needed to stay, but as one pillar among three, not the whole story.
The Strategy
The direction was to treat the homepage like a five-second pitch and every inner page like the follow-up meeting: a cinematic but restrained dark identity (black, bronze, ivory) to keep a premium, senior register; three explicit pillars — Art, Creative Direction, Innovation Lab — given equal visual weight; and a Case Studies section built around the format a hiring conversation actually uses, not a gallery caption.
The Execution
What shipped is a Next.js portfolio platform with a new navigation system (Art, Creative Direction, Case Studies, Innovation Lab, About, Contact), a homepage sequence proving all three pillars in order, a full Case Studies content model and template, an Innovation Lab section covering product concepts and creative-technology work including SpeakUp and MindTune, a rewritten About and Contact page built around career positioning rather than commerce, and a CV download and role-oriented contact flow throughout. Underneath the visible site sits a purpose-built admin CMS — Supabase-backed content models and editing screens for artworks, case studies, innovation concepts, and creative direction projects, each with image upload and gallery management — so new work can be published by editing content directly rather than by shipping a code change for every update.
Evidence / Visual System
The clearest evidence for this project is the site itself — real screens from the rebuild, not renders of it.
Visual evidence pending — concept plates are marked clearly.

Outcome / Potential Impact
- Designed to replace an artist-storefront impression with a platform that reads, within seconds, as Artist, Creative Director, and Innovator — and to make every one of those claims checkable through an actual case study rather than a self-description. No recruiter, hiring-manager, or peer feedback is published here yet; this outcome is stated as design intent, not a measured result.
Tools / Disciplines
What This Proves
This project is the clearest available evidence of how Daha actually works: given an ambiguous, personal, high-stakes brief with no client to defer to, he set the strategy, directed the identity, wrote the positioning, and built the product himself — end to end, not handed off at the wireframe stage. It demonstrates Creative Direction in the structure and tone, Innovation in a self-built content platform rather than a template, and the Artist's instinct for restraint, all applied to the hardest brief there is: himself.
